Terrance McKnight, the new host of Evening Music on New York's flagship NPR station WNYC, was the guest speaker at Shenandoah Conservatory Convocation on August 27, 2008. The new VPAA at Shenandoah, Dr. Bryon Grigsby, made an evocative welcome to the large audience in attendance, followed by some remarks by Dean Laurence Kaptain.
Terrance McKnight's program may be heard on the Internet from 7-11 p.m. (EST) on Monday through Thursday, and may be acessed at WNYC

Terrance McKnight is a terrific host. He is definitely an asset to WNYC's staff. He has bought a "contemporary feel" to classical music, and I thoroughly enjoy his interviews.
